	The Hotel The four-star Hotel Főnix has been welcoming guests from 2001 in Balatonföldvár, an enchanting holiday resort at the southern shore of Lake Balaton, 60 minutes from Budapest. The building of the hotel is an elegant villa built at the beginning of the twentieth century, giving a special athmosphere. We provide you hospitality, helpful and kind staff and services of high standard.
Fonix Comfort We offer 21 double bed rooms with bathrooms and a 6-member-apartment ideal for families (three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living-room, and a kitchen). There are TV, mini bar, telephone, roomsafe, PC connections and comfortable beds available in the rooms. Most of our rooms are air-conditioned. Guarded parking is also available to make sure about the safety of your car. Our indoor recreation facilities include open-air pool, sauna, sunbathing terrace, standard-size tennis court (covered in winter time), bicycles to rent, table-tennis, rex, table-soccer, darts, playing cards and board games.
	Fonix Gastronomy Our first class restaurant with garden and the intimate pub where you can drink quality Hungarian wines are the right place for gourmands. You will find Hungarian and international dishes on the menu card, though the cook will be pleased to prepare the required dishes for the ones with allergy or being on a diet.
Leisure and entertainment In summer time you can take part in several cultural events if you visit to Balatonföldvár. Among the most popular programmes are classical and jazz concerts, exhibitions, craftsmen's market, sport events, folclore performances, sailing competitions and the autumn grape harvest celebration. The remaining parts of the Fejérkő castle, the bicycle lines around the lake, Szántó-Szántódpuszta that is famous for its Skanzen and horse-riding races or various boat-trips are waiting for the turists who want to go further in adventures.
